Developing Fluency
In this program, students become fluent readers: they learn to read more smoothly, quickly, and easily. Reading fluently enables children to devote their full attention to the story, which leads to stronger comprehension and a love of reading. In each class, the teacher leads students in fluency training exercises. At home, your child will practice reading fluently by working with an interactive instructional DVD featuring Fluent Reading with Bookman. Learn more.
Video Companions
Your child will receive two books to keep and read at home, as well as two interactive instructional DVDs that accompany the books. The DVDs include a highly engaging feature called Fluent Reading with Bookman, in which a reading superhero named Bookman helps students practice reading fluently in passages from the books.
